One of the most successful Finnish rock acts Negative will release their fifth album "Neon” in June 2010. With the previous four albums Negative has topped the Finnish album and single charts and toured around the world playing hundreds of shows.

After releasing their latest album “Karma Killer” in 2008 Negative performed in the biggest Finnish festivals, and the album spent 8 weeks in the Official Finnish TOP40 Album Chart. After touring Finland, Negative spent the rest of the year on a tour visiting 17 European countries.

 The band was voted the best Finnish act in MTV's Video Music Awards 2007, once again showing the size and dedication of their fanbase. January 2008 Negative released a DVD "In The Eye Of The Hurricane", covering their career so far. The DVD achieved gold status in Finland. “Karma Killer” album showcased the band's natural progress: there were fresh elements in the mix, but the songs still sounded like Negative. The album was produced by Mikko Karmila who has worked with the Finnish heavyweights Nightwish and Children Of Bodom.

By the end of 2009 four albums, a compilation of rare tracks and a DVD have sold total of 120 000 units.

 Negative took a huge leap forward on its forthcoming “Neon” album, which was recorded in the famous Broken Wave Music Studio in Los Angeles by producers Warren Riker (Michael Jackson, Korn, Santana) and Jimmy Westerlund (music/film/TV producer). The sound of the band has never been as big, strong and wide as it is on the new album. The producers have found the strengths of the band and brought them out.
